From Farmington Pond: 1 mile paved road, then dirt road to open flat spot

5:45 AM Meet at DC PEAKS warehouse, load vehicles for aid station
6:45 AM Aid station setup complete
7:30 AM Lead runner expected to arrive
1:30 PM Last runner expected & take down aid station
2:30 PM Return to DC PEAKS warehouse

🎯 Responsibilities

πŸƒ Runner Support (CRITICAL)

  • ACTIVELY approach runners
  • Take bottles/packs and fill them
  • Ask: water, electrolytes, or both?
  • Offer food and nutrition
  • Provide encouragement!

  • Check in EVERY runner arrival
  • Check out EVERY runner departure
  • Cannot be missed - safety critical

  • Know emergency procedures
  • Record drops (bib # and reason)
  • Coordinate medical needs
  • Contact race directors if needed

⚠️ Important Notes

  • βœ“ It’s a 5 mile climb to the next station with 1,864’ of vert.
  • βœ“ The race cutoff is at 5:00 PM at Aid Station #5, mile 37.5. If this is met, we'll wait for them at the finish.
  • βœ“ The course is marked with BLUE DC PEAKS flags and signage, any other markers are NOT OURS
  • βœ“ Weather contingency: May relocate to Farmington Pond dirt parking lot (40.996167, -111.885411)
